Somerton West Street Church Christmas

 At Somerton we were unable to have our planned Christmas morning service this year. In common with some other Methodist churches in the Somerset Mendip Circuit, live services have been suspended until the situation over coronavirus is clearer. Everyone is, of course, disappointed at having to close the Church doors on such an important day. Rev Tim stepped in and offered to record the service he had already prepared, and we already had much of the music available. So, at very short notice, it was all put together as an audio-only file, and the resulting service is now available here . It appears we may be in and out of different tiers of lockdown for some time to come, so this is an attempt to produce a service that would be accessible to most people. Those with internet access can listen online or download to play on a device later. Watchnight Service

 We recorded the Curry Rivel URC watchnight service which was held yesterday evening over Zoom, and the video recording is here . There is also an audio only version of the same service here . We hope you enjoy either one of them, the content is the same.

Christmas Eve service

 There will be a special service, organised by Curry Rivel URC, on Christmas Eve at 8.30pm. Anyone around the Group is welcome to attend. This will be a virtual service as only a small number would attend in person.
